There are only 400 cases of the 2004 J. Daniel Cuvee, and it is a beauty. The wine exhibits plenty of creme de cassis, licorice, white chocolate, and graphite. Full-bodied, with sweet tannin and a long, structured finish, this wine is going into a more dormant stage than when I tasted it last year, and I would give it another 2-3 years of bottle age before drinking it over the following 15-25 years.
