The 2006 Cabernet was aged for 17 months in a mix of new and used French and American oak. Purple-colored, it offers up notes of cedar, vanilla, pencil lead, black currant and blackberry. This is followed by a full-bodied, structured Cabernet with a plush texture, layered flavors, soft tannins, and a 45-second finish. Give it 4-6 years in the cellar and drink it through 2026.Jay Miller.
