Wine Anthology review:
The Vigna Quattro Confini Taurasi is always made in tiny production numbers, with this 2010 clocking in at only 160 cases made overall! The small production allows the Ferraras to concentrate on quality, which this 2010 delivers in ample measure. It's rich and ripe with notes of tart cherry and almond, yet it possesses a dryness to cut through the fruit and bring in subtle secondary floral tones. A graceful Italian red with complexity to spare.
