"For almost 200 years my family has been established as winegrowers in Chablis. My son, Fabien, the sixth generation of winemakers, continues the family tradition. This bottle of Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, made with the Chardonnay grape in Burgundy, is ideal as an aperitif and will perfectly complement most foods and preparations. Enjoy chilled but not cold." —winemaker
"Bright yellow. Compelling perfume of lime zest, mirabelle, salty sea breeze, spices and smoky silex. Juicy, spicy and intense, conveying an impression of density without weight, with an element of minty cut contributing energy. The rising, palate-staining finish saturates the mouth with saline minerality." —Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

"This could not be mistaken for anything other than Chablis as there is plenty of typicity to the white fruit and floral scented nose. There is also excellent size, weight, power and richness to the middle weight plus flavors that exude ample minerality on the overtly saline finish. The question here is whether first-rate complexity will develop because at the moment this seems to lack the overall depth it usually has. My projected range offers the benefit of the doubt given the track record of this wine." —Allen Meadows, Burghound
