|"Intense dark cherry color, with a top layer of color. Attractive aromas of berries, like blackberries, black currant, raspberry, all is joined together with the spices aromas from its ageing in the barrel. It's a complex wine, very attractive on the palate, elegant with fine tannins." —winemaker

Wine Anthology review:
The Rioja Gran Reserva spent a whopping 2 years in cask and a further 3 years in bottle before release, receiving meticulous attention and care during this period to ensure that all the elements fully marry before release. With beautifully defined aromas of dark cherry, plum, and new leather, this is classic upper-tier Rioja that won't break the bank! Notes of dried cherry and blackcurrant lead into fine-grained tannin that is nicely integrated, suggesting a very long life in the cellar.
