Deep ruby/violet color. Strong, Cabernet aromas of black cherry, anise, dark cocoa and tobacco are enhanced by a hint of sweet oak vanilla. Medium-full bodied, the flavors show fully ripe, sweet yet earthy Cabernet fruit with a hint of dusty minerality. Moderately firm acidity, medium tannin and a touch of new oak vanilla highlight the fruit beautifully. Drink now or age 6-8 years.

Serve with grilled lamb or steak, osso buco, roast duck or cheeses like Pecorino Toscano or Cheddar.
