The 2003 Tenores is made from 80-year-old Cannonau vines. It is a sweet, full bodied red loaded with dark fruit, wild herbs, leather, spices, and coffee beans, showing superb persistence on the palate. This concentrated, intense red comes in at a surprising 17% alcohol, but you would never know it judging by the wine’s balance. It is not to be missed. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2018.
