The 2005 Triton is 100% Tinta de Toro from 100-year-old ungrafted wines. It was barrel-fermented and aged for 22 months in French and American oak, 50% new. Purple in color, it exhibits a complex nose of spice box, pain grille, crushed stone, blueberry and blackberry. Plush and full-flavored, the wine is well-balanced and has several years of aging potential. Drink this lengthy effort over the next 8-10 years.
