Grapes from several Sonoma County vineyards contributed to the final blend of this superbly balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. The Louis Martini Sonoma Cabernet leads the nose with redcurrant, cherry and black pepper, adding plum and a little tobacco on the palate. The fruit is nicely ripe; the acidity contributes through to a well-balanced finish but never overpowers, while the tannins are also well-behaved.
