The wine is composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Malbec. Stylisticaly, it is very close to the 2007, though perhaps with a tad less opulence and a bit more refinement (vintage character, 2007 Hardin rated 92 points by Robert Parker)
The nose has beautiful notes of cassis, black fruits and minerals. There is a cedary, tobacco note from the Cabernet Franc that makes it even more enticing. On the palate, the wine has richness and depth with lots of dark blackberry, more cassis and notes of stone and spice. It has nice texture and well-integrated tannins, along with freshness and balance that makes it very pretty.
This is very impressive juice that continues to offer tremendous value for Napa Cab!!
