Notes
| "Almost opaque in colour, the 2010 wine has masses of blackcurrant fruit on the nose with aromas of liquorice and mixed spice. The palate is full-bodied yet has great refinement and focus. The Cabernet structure will take some time to fill out and develop meaning the wine is precise and tight at release with a high degree of minerality. This will be one of the longest lived of the Anaperenna releases thus far. 72% Shiraz, 28% Cabernet." -winemaker |

Critics' Notes
| "A Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blend, the 2010 Anaperenna has a deep purple-black color and aromas of warm black cherry compote and creme de cassis over hints of smoked meat, earth, Indian spices, truffles and damp loam. Rich and opulent on the full bodied palate, the generous fruit is well supported by a medium to firm level of fine tannins and refreshing acid, finishing long and earthy. Still youthful and a little taut, it should drink best 2014 to 2022+." -Lisa Perrotti-Brown |
