The 2004 Olive Hill Red Blend is composed of 48% Shiraz, 30% Grenache, 12% Mourvedre, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from young 10-year-old vines. As with all of these cuvees, its personality and soul radiate from the aromas and flavors. Sweet black currant, pepper, spice box, and loamy/earthy characteristics along with beautiful structure, rich fruit, fabulous purity, and a long finish emerge from this beauty.
