"This beer is the unpronounceable result of unpredictable events – when a few bottles of a fruited wheat beer were mistakenly dosed with Brett yeast intended for another beer. We were so happy with the ensuing fruity, funky, and complex flavors that we spent a year recreating the beer. Fruittanomyces begins as our renowned Belgian-style Witte Wheat Ale. Prior to fermentation, a blend of mango, passion fruit and kiwi is added, after which the beer is generously dry-hopped. After dry-hopping, the beer is bottle-conditioned with Brett yeast for six months before release." —brewer
