Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondas 2016

"Domaine Raspail-Ay produces classic Gigondas wines. Full-bodied, fruity, fine and well-balanced. Aromas of red fruits – raspberries and black cherries – with notes of black pepper, lead to more complex scents of licorice and herbs de Provence. Tannins are ripe, the wine fills the mouth with warm, generous flavors yet with an underlying structure that bodes well for future potential. A fruit-forward and accessible wine, Domaine Raspail-Ay is an ideal wine for restaurant dining." —importer Blend: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre

Francois Pinon Vouvray Silex Noir 2017

"100% Chenin Blanc. Silex Noir is named for the black-flint soils characteristic of two parcels totalling 3.7 hectares that go into this bottling. These sites lie on hilly south-southeast-exposed terrain, below the plateau of cooler clay soils above from whence comes Pinon's Trois Argiles bottling, but with the same underpinning of classic Vouvray tuffeau (chalky limestone) about a meter and half down. The Silex Noir vines are sunnier and warmer and more humid; botrytis tends to develop here, so harvest here happens ahead of the Trois Argiles. The vines average 40 years old. They are farmed organically." - Winery

Remy Martin Tercet

"A light amber colour with coppery reflections. An explosion of intense notes, centered around fresh exotic fruits, and dried yellow fruits like apricot and peach. Gentle spice notes then follow, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, preserved ginger, with a hint of liquorice to animate these aromas and make them more lively. The first taste is bold and fresh with an 84‐proof blend. The Rémy Martin style can be identified in the smoothness of this cognac. Extremely round, it coats the palate, punctuated with notes of fresh fruits, fleshy fruits, and spices. A touch of grilled almond, is extremely long and complex in the mouth." —producer
