"This is an elegant wine which exhibits a dense purple color, with aromas of red fruit and blackberries. It has layers of silky and round tannins with notes of violet, blackberry, plum, and spice. It is a full-bodied wine with a long finish. Certified organic by ARGENCERT." —winemaker

Blend: 50% Malbec, 45% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
"Bright ruby-red. Inky, oaky aromas of black fruits, violet and herbs. Tightly wound and less yielding than the 2014 Cabernet Reserve but with good subtle sweetness and richness. Tannins are firm but ripe for the year. Still inky and backward today, this wine should reward a few years of patience. This is a very successful set of 2014s. Drinking window: 2018 - 2023." —Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

"The profile of the wines here can be summed up by the 2014 Gaia Red Blend, a mixture of 50% Malbec with 45% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is perfumed and fruit-driven, quite straightforward, with judicious oak, sweet fruit and a soft texture with round, fleshy tannins, moderate acidity and juicy fruit. 27,000 bottles produced." —Luis Gutierrez, The Wine Advocate

"Grapy aromas of black plum and blackberry are balsamic and a bit herbal. This blend of mostly Malbec and Syrah is medium in body and somewhat juicy. Blackberry, plum and peppery flavors finish chocolaty and lightly herbal." —Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
