"Deep and intense ruby color. A classic Châteauneuf du Pape enhancing the soft and rich character of the Grenache on the specific terroir of Châteauneuf du Pape. A body smooth and strong, spicies and black fruits." - winemaker
"Bright ruby. Assertively perfumed aromas of fresh black and blue fruits, spicecake and garrigue, and suggestions of cola and woodsmoke. Sappy and seamless on the palate, offering deeply concentrated boysenberry, black raspberry and floral pastille flavors that become spicier and more energetic with air. Supple tannins build on the tenacious finish, which shows outstanding clarity and resonating spiciness." - Josh Raynolds, Vinous

"Showing nicely in the vintage, the 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape offers attractive notes of blackberries, crushed rocks, leather and wild herbs to go with a medium-bodied, balanced feel on the palate. It shows the austere edge that’s common in the vintage, but it has a classic feel and will drink well for 10-12 years. The blend here is 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault that was raised mostly in concrete tank, yet with 30% in a combination of demi-muid and barrels." - Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate
