It is an estate grown and bottled wine that is at once unique and perfectly balanced, an assemblage of the bold structure delivered by the Cabernet Sauvignon, the support given by the quintessentially Chilean Carménère, and the enhanced aromatics, textures and flavors awarded by the Syrah and Cabernet Franc. The wine offers floral aromas with dark blackberry fruit, and soft, precise tannins, which culminate in its long finish. "The 2011 La Piu Belle is similar to the Milla Cala, as it's also a multi-grape blend from Cachapoal but with more of everything—more color, more concentration, more oak and more expensive. The fruit is black, and there are earthy tannins with a leather touch, closer to a Bordeaux than anything else. It's polished and sleek, very well done.
