A. A. Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2018

"The Secateurs shape bushvines during the winter pruning and are used to pick the ripe grapes in summer. The 2018 spent time on its lees in concrete tanks and old casks, which gives incredible texture and plate weight to the wine. The aromas are flinty with honey, orange blossom and white stone fruit notes." —winemaker
$18.99 $13.29 (Save $5.70)

Buchegger Holzgasse Gruner Veltliner 2018

"Facing southeast, Holzagasse is located 1000 feet above sea level on top of a hill and, because of the steepness of the site, the vineyard has to be terraced. The vines range from 20 to 50 years old and the soil is pure Löss. The fruit here ripens later than Gebling, but Buchegger harvests Holzgasse first, in early October, to preserve the freshness of the fruit and keep alcohol levels low. The grapes are hand-picked and rigorously sorted to separate out any inferior fruit or botrytis, and then whole cluster pressed, fermented and aged in stainless steel." —importer

Buchegger Rose Terrassen 2018

"This Rosé, fermented in the steel tank at around 18 degrees, is made from Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and Merlot, and is characteristically fruity with notes of fresh wild strawberries, sour cherries and blackberry leaves. An excellent, mouthwatering aperitif." —winemaker

Fess Parker Big Easy Red Blend 2016

"Deep red with pure, ripe, purple and red fruits immediately evident on the nose. An array of complexity, amplified by hints of rose-petals and boiled sweets clear in the bouquet. Warm notes of milk chocolate and roasted coffee round off wonderful complexity and depth. Juicy and succulent palate with a dash of Rhone varieties which give a dried, provincial-herb edge to the exquisitely balanced finish." —winemaker

Fram Shiraz 2017

"There is an old sign as you head into Riebeek Kasteel from Hermon that reads “Welcome to Shiraz country”. It was true many moons ago and is still just as true today. This wine is from a selection of vineyards around the Swartland, combining barrels from the granite sands in the Paardeberg with those from wines that came from the koffieklip soils west of Malmesbury. My vision is to make a wine that will focus on freshness, and show lively fruit, ranging from red cherry to the black savouriness of liquorice." —winemaker
$16.99 $12.99 (Save $4.00)

Lothian Vineyard Selection Chardonnay 2013

"Lightly golden with bright green touches, our Lothian Chardonnay has a nose that seamlessly combines peaches, pears, apples and tropical fruits with some butterscotch and nutty aromas from malolactic fermentation. The palate is medium-weighted with good texture supporting fresh tropical fruits within a focused, citrus-driven acidity. Crisp with a long dry finish, this wine balances characters of pure fruit with creamy mouth-filling complexity." —winemaker

Schloss Gobelsburg Cistercien Rose 2018

"For the Cistercien Rosé, the Zweigelt and St. Laurent grape varieties grown in the cooler sites of Gobelsburg and Langenlois are used. After the harvest, the grapes – still with their stems – are softly pressed and then fermented. This type of rosé is somewhat similar to a white wine because no acid reduction is used to emphasise the fine fruity character with a streamlined elegance. Its fragrance and fruit nuances of wild cherry and fresh berries make this Rosé an optimal universal food companion." —winemaker
$18.99 $13.99 (Save $5.00)
