Hennessy unleashes a new collaboration for 2025 Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake, with a vibrant limited-edition Hennessy Paradis by Chinese couture designer, Shuting Qiu. The beautifully crafted oak giftbox and crystalline bottle embellished with a striking red color is an eyecatching nod to the tradition of celebration and prosperity. A bespoke leather & satin-soft clip designed by Shuting Qiu adorn the neck of the bottle.
Hennessy Paradis is defined by its graceful character and immediately delights with its rich copper colour. It is a perfectly balanced blend, both voluptuous and round, and combines smoothness and strength with a silky texture. Naturally, it has a flavourful and deep, persistent finish.
Hennessy Paradis was created by Maurice Fillioux in 1979 as a tribute to symphonic music. He compared the blend to ‘a symphonic orchestra’, as “classical music that takes you away and connects with your emotions.” The number of instruments in an orchestra is not necessarily a measure of its success, but rather the purity of sound it creates and the virtuosity of the conductor. The same is true for Hennessy Paradis, a union of exceptional eaux-de-vie selected for their individual qualities to work together to create a harmonious and graceful cognac.
This limited edition release was created to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year and its zodiac symbol for 2025, the snake. This exclusive design was crafted by renowned Asian-American artist James Jean, known for his vivid, imaginative work. The snake in the Chinese zodiac represents wisdom, elegance, and transformation, qualities that align with Johnnie Walker's values of progress and forward momentum. The bottle's intricate design reflects a balance between honoring tradition and embracing a future filled with optimism, mirroring Johnnie Walker's iconic “Keep Walking” spirit.
As always, Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a velvety smooth and vibrant Scotch crafted using rare hand-selected whiskies from across the four corners of Scotland. Only 1 in 10,000 casks from Johnnie Walker's reserves of aging Scotch — including some from long-closed "ghost" distilleries — is considered to have the remarkable depth of character needed to craft this exceptionally smooth whisky.
