We are excited to introduce the fourth release from a special program graciously offered by the master distillers at the Knob Creek distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Through their Single Barrel Select Experience, we tasted through a selection of single-barrel Knob Creek bourbons and selected our favorite, which the distillery then bottled. The result is our very own Wine Anthology bottling of a single barrel of Knob Creek bourbon! Whereas Knob Creek's normal straight bourbon whiskey bottling is a blend of whiskies from several barrels, this unique bottling comes from a single cask and shows off a different side of the signature Knob Creek style.

"For this exceptional Kentucky bourbon, we meticulously blend each small batch to create its distinctive flavor profile. Ascension is a blend of two bourbons: whiskey produced at Six Mile Distillery in Pleasureville, KY (now known as Heaven's Door Distillery), and whiskey sourced from elsewhere in Kentucky. It was aged for at least five years, it’s non-chill filtered, and bottled at 92 proof. Tasting notes include caramel, vanilla, and baking spice on the palate, with a nose full of popcorn and dried fruit." —producer

We have teamed up with a famous bourbon distillery and we're eager to present the exciting final result: a full-proof, single-barrel bourbon that we have hand-selected with the master distillers at the Barton 1792 distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Through their Single Barrel Select Experience, we tasted through a selection of single-barrel 1792 bourbons and selected our favorite, which the distillery then bottled. At 125 proof, this has the full flavor, strength, and character of a bourbon straight from the barrel, with a richness and taste that reminds of a concentrated version of the regular 1792 bottling.
