"The Chivas Regal Gold Signature blend has been created for its opulent richness, from whiskies matured for at least 18 years. Chivas Brothers' Master Blender Colin Scott has hand-selected the casks for this very special blend. In recognition of this, Colin Scott's initials appear on every bottle of Chivas Regal Gold Signature. The Chivas Regal Lion symbolizes Chivas Brothers' pride in this superb whisky. For over 100 years Chivas Brothers has owned a remarkable wealth of whisky stocks. From these thousands of casks maturing deep in Scottish hills, only a few of the richest are set aside for Chivas Regal Gold Signature. A welcoming, rewarding whisky. Exceptional richness with multi-layered aromas of buttery toffee, dark chocolate and dried fruits. Hints of spices and smoke. The sumptuous, velvety palate develops into an extremely long, warm finish." —producer
"Joseph Magnus Bourbon is a marriage of straight bourbon whiskey aged in white oak and finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez and Cognac casks. Rich and deep notes of vanilla, citrus, dark chocolate, brown sugar and dark stone fruits deliver with a lingering, warm finish." —producer
"As malcontents, we’re particular about our whiskey. When we decided to release a rye, we knew it had to be something special to live up to the amazing response received by our bourbon finished in port barrels. Angel’s Envy Rye Finished in Rum Barrels is genuinely unique and worthy of Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s legacy. The taste profile of rye whiskey was a perfect fit for a rum cask finish. After sampling over 100 rums to find the right flavor to complement rye whiskey, the team’s decision was unanimous. Angel’s Envy spends up to 18 months finishing in Caribbean rum casks, resulting in an immensely complex whiskey. The mingling of raw, spicy and earthy rye with the mellow sweetness of rum finishing creates an incomparably smooth and drinkable whiskey, even at 100 proof." —producer
"This is a single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, Nikka's second distillery built in 1969. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose this site in the mountains of Sendai to contrast with his first distillery, Yoichi, located in the coastal area. Using less peaty malt and distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam, Miyagikyo single malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence." —producer
"The Nikka Coffey Malt is the result of a unique distillation process in 'Coffey' type column stills, which are normally used for grain whisky production. This rare 100% malt bottling offers a surprisingly rich texture." —producer
"Taketsuru's no-age-statement blended malt contains a high percentage of malt from Miyagikyo, with the reminder coming from Yoichi. Aged on average for around 10 years in a variety of different cask types, including some sherry wood for extra richness." —producer
"If water is essential to whisky production, it follows that the character of the water used can have a considerable influence on the profile of the spirit. The founder of the Kavalan distillery has spent years searching for the perfect site, with the ideal water supply. He chose Yilan as the site for its abundant supply of cold, spring water flowing through the Snow Mountain. Kavalan, the earliest tribe that inhabited Yilan, represents sincerity, honesty, and the spirit of step-by-step cultivation. Kavalan distillery continues the tradition of passionate commitment to creating the premium whisky. The effort goes into every drop of new make spirit and every seasoned cask we choose. Coupled with the mastery of the blender, they ensure the silky smoothness and distinctive flavours of Kavalan whisky." —producer
"BLACKENED Whiskey’s Master Distiller & Blender, Rob Dietrich, teamed up with Rabbit Hole Distillery’s Founder & Hall of Fame whiskey maker, Kaveh Zamanian, to create BLACKENED x Rabbit Hole, the 2023 release of the Masters of Whiskey Series. This limited-edition expression is crafted from a 13-year old straight Tennessee bourbon whiskey, which is 64% corn/36% rye, and Rabbit Hole Heigold High Rye Double Malt Kentucky Straight bourbon, 70% corn/25% malted rye/5% malted barley. The bourbon whiskey blend is then finished in Calvados apple brandy casks, bottled at cask strength, and non-chill filtered." —producer
"Green Spot Quails' Gate is the third edition in the Wine Geese series. Matured in American oak and ex-sherry casks, the liquid was then finished for 16 months in Pinot Noir casks to impart a delicate red wine bouquet to the nose, with notes of ripe cherry and juicy raspberries." —producer
"A meticulous search of the cask inventory revealed an intriguing array of fine aged malt and grain Scotch whiskies aged 25 years and older. Each cask was individually sampled and assessed by Master Blender, Stephanie MacLeod before being chosen. Once MacLeod was satisfied that she had a perfectly balanced flavour profile in the Dewar's House Style, the specially selected casks were blended together and then filled into oak casks for an additional period of maturation, a process pioneered by Dewar's, known as double-ageing, to add more depth and enriched smoothness. During this extra period of maturation, the disparate characters of the malts and grains are allowed to interact with one another and mellow further. In an extra step unique to the new 25-year-old expression, the whisky was then filled into a set of freshly disgorged Royal Brackla casks for an extra period of finishing. Dewar's 25 is endlessly smooth, rich and elegant. Awakened on the palate: the sophisticated whisky is glorious in its harmony and balance, gently revealing layers of rich fruit, floral notes and delicate honey, with a hint of smoke to finish." —producer
"Inspired by the original, Yellow Spot is the rare taste of a bonder's style Pot Still Irish whiskey. Maturation in Bourbon barrels, Sherry butts and Malaga casks creates a superbly complex whiskey with fresh and sweet top notes." —producer
"Rye inspired by Old World barrel-aging traditions. This 86-proof 12 year-old Rye Whiskey is a marriage of whiskeys aged in New American Oak and ingeniously finished in Port (7%,) French Sauternes (30%,) and Madeira casks (63%). We’ve taken the elements that are most quintessential in an American rye – boldness and character – and fused them with the elegance and grace of an 18 year old Scotch." —producer
"Aged 18 Years is a rare blend of three of our most exceptional whiskies, handcrafted by our master blender, patiently aged to perfection for no less than 18 years. "Savour the seminal Redbreast 12 in its natural, full flavoured state. Straight from the cask, unfiltered, no water added. A fruit explosion; figs, dates, ripe banana, sultana, red apple and lime. Pot Still spices combine with the sweet vanilla and pine from the casks. Deep full dried fruit, a touch of citrus with aromatic oils and spices. Vanilla sweetness leads to toasted oak and barley. Exceedingly long, rich complexity of spices and fruit, slowly fading through sweet butterscotch to barley." —producer
"King Car whisky is one of our 3 latest releases. Our aim is to make the flavour the fullest and most rounded possible. And this time, because we wanted to retain most of the flavours, the alcoholic strength was raised to 46%! This is the first expression launched in the name of King Car which is the name of the Group. The chairman of the Group, Mr. T. T. Lee, wanted to have a whisky that could also represent the company to show the kind of diverse business that we do, and this King Car (aka Conductor) truly represents the Group with its complex flavours, delicate aromas, and multiple layers of background fruitiness!" —producer
